(Gr)Attitude; Day Twenty-Three

10:03:00 PM

Today my husband and I spent the entire day in Idaho Falls with my family. Mitch went on a Moose hunt with his brother, Gage, and his dad.
While a Moose hunt sounded "fun" and all, I much preferred the alternative!
I went shopping for all of my very first Christmas Decorations for my very first tree!

I probably spent way to much money but my first Christmas Tree with my handsome husband in our very first home is going to be fabulous! We didn't have a tree last year because we were on our Honeymoon clear up until Christmas Eve, so this year is our "first" Christmas together where we will actually be able to focus on doing Christmas-y things and getting into the Spirit of Christmas without having a wedding or a cruise on our minds.

Today I also bought Mitch part one of his Christmas gift! I really had to go out on a limb to get him something, especially when his wish list was "a gun or tools". Hopefully he loves what I got him!

To help my family get into the Christmas spirit, I helped set up and decorate one of their center pieces. I bought pretty much the same exact things that my mother did, so I'd like to consider this a test run for what I'll be decorating my house with!

Today I am thankful that I get to celebrate my "first" Christmas with my sweetheart. I am thankful for a home where we can set up our own Christmas tree. I am especially grateful for the Spirit of Christmas and Thanksgiving. Reflecting on everything that I have in my life has made me so much more charitable, kind, and forward thinking. I am grateful for the sweet reminders I get from keeping this blog that my life with Mitch is more than I could have ever expected.
I am thankful that in just a few short days, Mitch and I will have our very first Thanksgiving together as a married couple!

Thanks for stopping by!
