Hey, I'm Alex! Born and raised in Idaho, but I've never been a potato farmer. Idaho does have other things, believe it or not.

I was raised in Boise, which is the "city" part of Idaho. After meeting my husband, liking him a whole lot more than he liked me, and convincing him to marry me for things other than my devilish good looks, I acquired the "country life."

Now, hiking, four-wheeling, playing on the farm (a hay farm, not a potato farm), and doing other redneck adventures are my favorite things.

I collect LEGOs. I have more than your average 9-year-old-boy. They are mainly Harry Potter LEGOs, for which I have a special love.

I love to craft and some of my favorite crafting activities are quilting, carving stamps, and playing with my Cricut. I also enjoy crocheting in good measure, drawing when I feel inspired, and trying out anything and everything.

Time best spent is time with my husband and son doing whatever we think of. Binge-watching Netflix, rock climbing, going on bike rides. As long as I've got my sweethearts with me, I'm game for trying anything.

Overall, I have the spirit of an 11-year-old boy and 98-year-old grandma trapped in my 24-year-old body. I'd call it the perfect mix, but then again my strict bedtime for myself is 10:00 pm and I fall asleep watching movies, so...
