(Gr)Attitude; Day Five

Today, I am grateful for Resume's and previous employment opportunities that have gotten me a job interview for tomorrow afternoon!

Getting a job interview, let alone a job in Rexburg is seriously a Christmas miracle. I had put in an application at 10 different locations in August. Each location or position had either been nice enough to email me a 'no thanks' email, or busy enough to just not get back to me at all.

I had put in an application two months ago and given up hope. I had my ego bent, my pride hurt, and I had every doubt in my mind. Perhaps I just got lucky with my current job OR maybe I wasn't as qualified as I thought I was.

Either way, the only thing that kept me going was my sweetheart of a husband. He reminded me daily of all the great things I am capable of and that sooner or later a job would come. And tomorrow I have a job interview!

I am grateful for my husband's continual love and encouragement for me. I am also extremely grateful for his hard work and for his efforts to provide for our family. I sort of really love that guy (:

Last but not least, I am grateful for warm fuzzy socks, a cup of chocolate milk, and the movie How to Train Your Dragon. These bad boys seriously calmed my nerves after I had gotten off the phone.
