(Gr)Attitude; Day Eleven
11:53:00 PM
First day of training at my new job down! It was great! Well, actually it was extremely long and I had to sign a million and a half papers, but that is all said and done now!
Our training started at 3:00 pm and ended at 10:00 pm. I'm pooped! I don't know how I am going to juggle all of my classes with these kind of hours, but I will! I'm especially excited for my first paycheck to fluff our bank account a bit (;
I am grateful for the opportunity to work. There were ten people hired and only four of us speak English. I'm so grateful I am one of those four, especially when we are a dime-a-dozen! I am grateful that my hand is so cramped right now because it means I have been extremely blessed! As a matter of fact, I am grateful that I look like a zombie right now because it means that I am able to provide for my family!
Mitch works a seasonal job with Parks and Rec (I like to pretend he is the next Ron Swanson). His job includes doing things like grooming mountain trails, fixing signs, and driving around on a boat in the lakes to do other parks-and-rec-type-thingies. Unfortunately there isn't a need for a large crew once December rolls around so Mitch's job will be ending just in time for our next semester of school. I'm so happy I can seamlessly start working so we are never without a paycheck.
There is so much I am grateful for because of this job. I seriously can't stop thinking of all of the financial security Mitch and I will have from me having this job as well as our management job. It is a blessing for sure!
November is seriously the best month ever!
