Life has been crazy these past few weeks! Here's some funny updates on our life though!
Mitch thought he saw a spider in our bed. He brought in our crappy kitchen tongs and proceeded to shake out every single blanket we own. Meanwhile, I just laid in the "spider infested" bed.
Mitch and I were reading an article that brought up Hamlet. My cute, illiterate sweetheart said so excitedly, "That's that dude that says Rapunzel, let down your hair, or something like that!!!"
Sure it is, hunny. Sure.
Halloween is tomorrow and our ward Halloween party is tonight. I have no clue what to go as. We are pretty lame. Last year we were a Girl Scout and a Dirtbiker. This year, Mitch wants us to go as... you guessed it... Dirtbikers sans the beard.
I accidentally opened up a can of Sloppy Joe sauce that I thought was Chili, and then proceeded to microwave the sauce... still thinking it was Chili.
Other than that, life has been filled with a whole lot of nothing besides homework, tests, and trying to get as much packed as possible. Mitch and I put in our notice where we work, which means that we also lose our beautiful home. I'm going to miss this place! It has been the only home we have had since we got married, but after two years of managing, we are ready to go (When we did interviews this past weekend for new managers, someone said that the hardest choice that they had to make recently was deciding what to eat for dinner that night. Yeah, he didn't get the job).
I keep slowly packing up boxes from different parts of the house (Hopefully as I pack, Mitch doesn't think he's found a spider and spend the next hour clawing through our things with tongs again...). It doesn't feel quite real yet. In fact, I'm pretty sure it won't feel real until after Christmas break when we just don't come back here.
But we are moving on to bigger and better things!
