7 Months

9:49:00 AM

The hubs and I have been married for 7 months as of July 8th, 2013! It has been an amazing 7 months, but a fast 7 months too! I can't even wait for us to finish up this semester and then have the rest of the year off to get into all sorts of shenanigans!

For this splendid occasion, we decided we would relax, grab some dinner, and then trade off doing things that we liked to do.

First Stop: Costa Vida

Mitch's Man Burrito. This sucker was not only delicious, but as big as my face too!

Next: A Hunting/Camping Store

Mitch was in heaven sitting in this horribly nasty camouflage rocking chair. It literally looked like Old redneck grandad meets primitive comfort.

I soon found out the real reason we had come to this "Camping Store". Guns. Lots and lots of guns.

The worker was nice enough to let Mitch hold a few of them. He was so giddy I had to take a picture.

Bicycles!

When we pulled up at our apartment from the Gun Store, our friend Jared was out on his camping chair, just relaxing and doing homework.

My bicycle. My dad bought this for me when I was 17 or so. It is my pride and joy during the summers.

Mitch loves to go biking in the mountains and unfortunately his bike broke, but Jared was kind enough to lend us his.

My husband and I went the "Temple route" which is pretty much uphill for a good hour and then a nice coast downhill for about 5 minutes. It was really difficult on my little cruiser which has no gears, but we made it!

Into the Sunset

Jared went a step further in generosity and allowed Mitch and I to go on a ride with his KLR! Mitch has been dying to get his hands onto one of these bad boys and constantly reminds me that he found one for super cheap that we could afford (Not happening).

My cute little husband was totally eating it up. He probably drove around for an hour and a half on the bike claiming he had to find a trail head or something. I think he just couldn't bring himself to taking the bike back yet.

We rode until the sun starting setting and then had a beautiful time driving back to our apartment with this view in front of us the whole time.

We finished the night with Oreo Ice Cream and relaxation!

I am so grateful that I have been married to a wonderful man for 7 months! It isn't a huge accomplishment, but I am so happy at the thought. Here's to another 7 YEARS of adventures, rascally-ness, and probably a KLR or two somewhere in the mix (;

Thanks for stopping by!
