Safeco Field: A No Hit Game Where We Left Early and Went to Nordstrom Rack

Some sweethearts in our ward (church) gave us free tickets to a mariners game that they couldn't attend, so Mitch and I loaded up Zane and took off to Seattle! I can't think of a better purpose for a toddler-sized Hawaiian shirt than a Saturday afternoon baseball game, honestly. 

The game was unfortunately a total snooze. There were a few (read two) hits, but nothing that got anyone anywhere. It was like the baseball gods wanted us to have to entertain Zane in a crowded group of people for the entire 9 innings without anything to draw his attention to. 

So we left early and went shopping, but I thought we should at least commemorate the fact that we did something. In Washington. By ourselves. Without anyone guiding us there (except for Siri, my life depends on google maps). And to top it all off, we made sure we ate 5 times our weight in ballpark food before we left, so can we really be that upset?
