My Week in Pictures

1:49:00 PM

The Hubs and I spent the weekend in Idaho Falls! Mitch spent some time with his friends, Steven and Mark, while I went out shopping.
Take a look at our week in pictures!

First, my husband treated me with a GIANT blue raspberry slush. Nothing is better than getting a giant slush from Maverick to enjoy while you watch Arrested Development on Netflix. The bad side was that I now want one all of the time since it is getting warmer. Above 40 degrees? TIME FOR A SLUSH.

My little sister, Abbi, and I accidentally matched our clothes (and note, new slushes in hand).
AND, we met Lil Sebastian! Okay, not the real Lil Sebastian, but a horse look-a-like. Apparently, this horses name was "Heaven Sent" and was helping his owner sell eggs. I didn't buy any eggs, but I did take a picture with the horse and pet it!
Lil Sebastian is a character from an old TV show called Parks and Rec. If you've never seen it, you are seriously missing out! My husband and I just re-watched the entire first 4 seasons on Netflix.
Here's a mini clip of Lil Sebastian on the show.

While out shopping, I actually purchased some new makeup! I've been working off of makeup that I have owned since I was 12. It was time for an upgrade.

While out with my sisters, Abbi and Ciara, we decided to do some shopping. I figured since I am a grown woman, it was time I bought my first lipstick! I got two; one nude and one in fushia. Abbi and Ciara picked out everything to be honest. I just kind of sat back and made sure we stayed on budget.
I also got some bronzer, a concealer stick, 3 cream eyeshadows, and then 2 nail polishes that aren't pictured but are absolutely gorgeous!

I tried on my lipstick and then kissed H on the cheek. He wasn't a fan until he looked in the mirror and saw how handsome he was. This kid is the next Narcissus. Put him in front of a mirror and he could sit there for hours.

Case. In. Point.

I also decided I'd finally open a box of trial perfumes I got from three Christmas' ago! Yes, you heard right. Three Christmas' ago.

So far, all of them smell lovely except for Rapture. That bad boy could clear a room in seconds. I keep trying it again to see if the smell changes or if my initial reaction was from another smell mixing in with it. Nope. Rapture stinks. I really love Tease, which is why so much of it is still in the bottle - I'm savoring it for another day. The rest are all very good smelling, but those were just the two that stood out.

I ordered Mitch and I some new shirts from a website selling them for only $15! His is the bar scene and mine is of course Harry Potter!

I also got some new LEGO Minifigures. These are from the LEGO Movie. I love the Minifigure series that LEGO does. I think they are already on Series 16 or 17. Essentially, LEGO creates these little characters that are only produced for a very short time. They are sold in tiny little poly bags, so whenever you buy one, you have no way of telling which one you will get. It's all based on chance, or for cheaters like me, feeling the bags and trying to identify pieces. Each series has 16 different minifigures, and each one is $2.99. You can wait and purchase them on eBay for triple if you want to make sure that you are getting the right one. I love collecting them, but I really only like getting the ones that interest me right off the bat. I would say that all of them are very unique, but there are some that stand out or have really great pieces that I can't help but go and feel the poly bags for 30 minutes looking for the one I want - it makes me feel dangerous. The downside is that if some employees catch you feeling up the bags, they'll dismiss you from that section.

And finally, Mitch and I decided to test out my camera by going to the industrial side of town and taking pictures. I am absolutely enamored by my new camera. I'm literally taking pictures of the most ridiculous things. As in, that picture of perfume you see above? Yeah, I've got like 200 more like it on my SD card.

Thank you, sweet hubby, for dealing with me dragging you out to take these pictures!
- Alex

Thanks for stopping by!
