Fine Fancy: Legos, Legos, Legos

7:05:00 PM

There is a famous quote that I live my life by, and it is:

"Despite my Ghoulish Reputation, I have the heart of a small [child].
I keep it in a jar on my desk." - Robert Bloch

While I don't have a ghoulish reputation, I do have a heart like a child. Interestingly enough, I've not really aged in many faucets of my life past that of a nine year old boy. This isn't a horrid thing, especially when I can run/exercise for as long as I want and still be happy. It isn't a bad thing, especially when I am able to eat whatever is there. It's just a bad thing when all of my blankets get dirty because I like to build forts, or all of my shoes are muddy because I was playing in the rain. It's only a bad thing when I spend more time playing with legos, video games, or nerf guns than I do cooking or cleaning.

Some might call me blessed, really. I don't have a care in the world as to what I'm doing, as long as it is adventurous. I don't think twice about what my hair looks like, as long as it's out of my eyes. I don't even really care about what happens to my clothes, as long as they cover my parts!

So, I present to you, one weekend of messy hair, dirty clothes, and boyish fun.

I absolutely love Lego's and Harry Potter, so I thought "Why not mix my two very favorite things?" and I did! Take a look at the things this nerdy, college girl does with a set of legos rather than studying or getting dressed that day.

I recreated a scene from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone. It is where Harry has completed all of the tasks that Fluffy was guarding only to find Professor Quirrell rather than Snape. The part I specifically went for was when Harry looks into the Mirror of Erised and see's himself with the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone.

... In case you didn't know...
Lego's run my life (:
