When I found out I was pregnant, Mitch and I kept it a secret for four whole months, from everyone, even my parents. It was extremely hard to not let the happiest news of my life slip when just generally chatting with my family. In fact, it was super hard to gather for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner and try to explain why I wasn't all that hungry...

One part of keeping my pregnancy a secret was I had to create a secret board on Pinterest. A few minutes of boredom today led me to looking over what I had posted on the elusive little minx of a board, and let me tell ya, some of those posts were just downright weird. I'll blame it on the pregnancy brain. 

Looking back on some of them is funny, such as "How to correct your babies latch when breastfeeding" with an illustrated little picture making it look super easy. Yep. It's not - the little fart is going to do whatever the little fart wants to no matter how many times you try to get them to widen their latch.

Other posts are amazing and make me so jealous that I haven't had time to perfectly curate a little nursery (Zane's nursery actually got taken down and transformed into C's bedroom) or to sew up every adorable little onesie tutorial I posted. Let's reminisce in those things and feel like failures together (:

Having a baby is the perfect opportunity to learn how to knit, right?

Zane is honestly grateful that he isn't starved.

I think it's safe to say ain't nobody got time for that.
