My Little "Dangster"

4:28:00 PM

It's Dr. Seuss Week this week in honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday! Henry got to wear a hat to school and when he came downstairs, I jokingly said, "What's up, my gangster?" He looked at me and got his 'sour face' on, and then said, "Do NOT call me a Dangster, Alex." So I've kept calling him a gangster and he just looks at me all feisty but doesn't respond anymore.

Could he get any cuter?

Yes, yes he could. Especially when he came home this evening and read to my sweet little niece, Lilly. Here is Henry reading a Dr. Seuss book with the assistance of Ana, my older sister.

Can I just tell you how happy this little guy reading makes me? It makes up for the fact that he can't count by two's, that he steals your drink whenever you aren't looking, and that he keeps calling me fat and tells me that my prego belly button is, in fact, a wart on my tummy (what a charmer).

Henry, you are my light. I love you and the growth you bring, even if it is most often patience.

Thanks for stopping by!
