Well, Now. Somebody Turned 24 Months and Sassy

Zane turned two and suddenly his personality has exploded. He speaks in complete sentences, adds an extra 's' to every single word (carses, houseses, handses), and has realized that he has some bargaining chips when it comes to doing what mommy wants. 

Zane loves painting, coloring, and drawing. He really enjoys LEGOs and likes to build "truckses" with them. He has become obsessed with cereal and now requests it for every meal. I think he just loves the fact that we give him milk in the bowl now too. His favorite color is orange, so he only wants to play with orange toys, eat orange otter pops, and have orange starbursts when he goes potty all by himself. If it isn't orange, forget about it. 

ZZ is very excited to become a big brother and will often grab my tummy and shout at it, "Baby get out now! Come play!" It's adorable, but I can already tell this kiddo is going to be an aggressive lover with his little brother. He's become infatuated with looking at pictures of babies and as I've been going through all of the baby stuff, he has tried putting all of it on again. He begged us to take chew toys to church the other day. 

Speaking of church, Zane likes to yell at the people around us who are dozing off, "WAKE UP!" until they startle awake. He also likes to sing along to the hymns, but he is extremely tone deaf and mostly just shouts. He loves nursery and we have to practically kidnap him against his will to get him to leave. It's been really great, seeing as we just joined a new ward. 

Lastly, Zane has a special love for Minions. While potty training, I've let him watch Despicable Me because it makes going to the bathroom in 30 minute increments so much easier since we can just pause the TV, move over a few feet, and be at a bathroom. Since potty training, he has asked to watch "Gru" every single time we enter the living room. I've pretty much got the movie memorized by now.
