8 Month Old Wild Thing

Let's not lie about it. Zane is just 2 days away from being 9 months old, but holy crap does my 8 month old look like a toddler - mohawk and all. 

At 8 months, Zane is a ferocious army crawler, ferocious dancer, and ferocious clapper. Everything he does is ferocious because he's perfected the perfect scowl that he flashes on a regular basis. The picture above doesn't do the scowl justice (he even freaked out a cashier at Walmart, which I'm sure is very hard to do, seeing that it is Walmart). I've yet to catch it on camera yet, but I'm sure it will happen one day. 

Zaney has 6 teeth, which only enhance the perfect scowl. He has learned to wave bye-bye and night-night, goes babababababa to say bye-bye and is very close to saying hi. 

Zane has somehow learned that he can play in his crib rather than take naps and that he can nap rather than take cute pictures. What a life. 

Zane loves air vents, tiny specks of anything he can find on the floor, and belly raspberries. He is eating 'human food' regularly now and he particularly loves spicy food and V8's. He is a total boy; loving to growl, laughing at fart noises, and enjoying just general rascaly-ness. 

I couldn't think of any better little Wild Thing.
